RECONNECTING WITH OUR JOY, IN THE SACRED “I DON’T KNOW” WORKSHOP
DATE: Sunday, June 22, 2025
TIME: 12:30 - 2:00 pm
FACILITATOR: Rev. Dr. Jerry Troyer
LOCATION: CCC Living Room
COST: $20.00/person
In the book, Power, Freedom and Grace, Deepak Chopra writes, “External causes of happiness never create real joy.
Joy is an internal state of consciousness that determines how we perceive and experience the world. The internal source of joy—our connection to our Creator, our Source, our Inner Self—is the cause, while happiness is its effect.”
What is our relationship with Spirit? Can we experience that joy even during times of change, fear and challenge? Am I comfortable in “asking, seeking and knocking” (as Jesus suggested in The Beatitudes)? And can I reside in “the sacred I don’t know”?
Join Rev. Dr. Jerry Troyer for a brand new workshop, especially for days like these.
Rev. Dr. Jerry Troyer has been a New Thought minister for more than 18 years, and is the Board President of the Affiliated New Thought Network (ANTN), a membership organization of Unity, Religious Science and Divine Science centers, churches and individuals. He lives in San Diego.

“This important book is about the lifelong journey from ‘What will people think’ to ‘I am enough’”. The well-known and acclaimed thought leader, Brene Brown, explores the means by which we can release the notion of “imperfection”, to embrace living authentically.
Learn to engage more fully in wholehearted living from a place of worthiness. Her “ten guideposts” become the benchmarks for authenticity that can help us establish ourselves in a perfectly imperfect life. In this class, we will over-come self- defeating beliefs to strengthen our connection to the world, and to know, without question, that we are worthy of self-discovery, personal growth, and boundless love.

SPIRITUAL DEEPENING WORKSHOP
DATE: Wednesday, September 17, 2025
TIME: 7:00 - 8:30 pm
WHERE: via Zoom
FACILITATOR: Rev. Dr. Martha Creek
COST: $20.00/person
The spiritual journey is not a linear path, but a spiral, ever-unfolding and inviting us inward and upward. Spiritual awakening is that moment—or series of moments—when we become aware that there is more to life than what we see, touch, or measure. It is the soul’s recognition of its Source. It might be dramatic or subtle. It may come after a crisis, in a moment of deep peace, or during the quiet hours of meditation.
Once we awaken, the real work begins—spiritual deepening. It is the steady, often unglamorous work of embodying the light. It’s moving from inspiration to integration.
Where awakening is revelation, deepening is devotion.
Where awakening is clarity, deepening is consistency.
Where awakening shows us the mountain, deepening is the climb.
