JOYFUL GATHERING’S CONNECTING HEARTS MINISTRY IS CURRENTLY SUPPORTING:

…the Urban Street Angels program that assists at-risk youth through housing on a monthly basis. Urban Street Angels’ various programs are dedicated to ending youth homelessness. Since 2012, this organization has helped homeless youth develop the essential life and job skills they need in order to leave the streets for good.

  • The California Fire Foundation which supports and assists firefighters, their families, and the communities they serve. (Feb. ‘25)

  • The Unforgotten Haven, an organization that supports the less fortunate in Camden County in numerous ways. JG’s donation funded their food pantry/supplies account. (March '25)

  • Help Hope Live, a non-profit organization that supports medical fundraising for the expenses insurance doesn’t cover. (April ‘25)

  • Doctors Without Borders (MSF), an organization that delivers emergency medical aid to people in crisis, with humanitarian projects in more than 70 countries. (May ‘25)

  • The Starting Point, a non-profit organization in Haddon Twp, NJ offering therapy, coaching, psychological & psychiatric services, support groups, education, and resources for individuals, families, and businesses. (June ‘25)

  • The World Central Kitchen, which is supporting Texas Flood Relief and other areas affected by natural disasters. (July '25)

  • Angels Community Outreach, located in Pitman, NJ, which supports local individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. (August ‘25)

  • Seeds of Hope in Camden, which supports those affected by homelessness and drug addiction. Our donation supported children of incarcerated parents with back-to-school items and necessities. (Sept. '25)

  • The Love Orphanage, an organization dedicated to providing assistance and care for orphaned children in Haiti (Oct. '25)

  • The Wayne Hall Charity Scramble, which partnered with DAV (Disabled American Veterans), assists veterans with disabilities that have resulted from their service to our country. (Nov. ‘25)

  • The Collingswood Community Center’s Holiday Initiative, which helps to make the holidays bright for local underserved children. (Dec. ‘25)

 CONNECTING HEARTS MISSION STATEMENT:

Connecting Hearts of Joyful Gathering is a ministry rooted in love, service and joy whose purpose is to support and foster the upliftment and well-being of our greater community at large. This ministry is the Divine Activity of Love in Action anchored in the joy filled service of gratitude and the activity of the Law of Circulation.

Other organizations the Community Outreach Program has supported in the past include:

  • The John Brooks Recovery House and Kenny Smith’s Freedom House supporting those recovering from addiction

  • Food Bank of South Jersey supporting those who are food insecure

  • Voorhees Animal Orphanage supporting their animal rescue efforts

  • Image and Attitude (Prep Institute) assisting disadvantaged women entering or reentering the workforce

  • Joseph’s House supporting the homeless in South Jersey

  • Hurricane Harvey restoration

  • The Providence House assisting women & children affected by domestic violence

  • The Angels Community Outreach assisting disadvantaged children through their Back to School, Tushies to Toes and Clothing Closet programs

  • Homelessness in Camden delivering clothing, coats, backpacks, tarps, food, toiletries and various items directly to anyone in need at the Transportation Center in Camden, NJ  

  • The Starting Point of New Jersey program that provides gifts for children during the holiday season
